On a possibly related note, some of today's Windows Updates may have borked TeamViewer 10, where TeamViewer crashes after logging in to Windows. Only problem I had was it kept trying to resize the display window.ฤก1 is in Beta right now, so if you can't get 10 to work for you, send an email to their support and maybe try the 11 beta while waiting to hear back from them. I put TeamViewer on 2 family member's Windows 10 computers (didn't setup VPN), and didn't really have many issues with it. It also would not hurt to uninstall and reinstall the newest (non-beta) version (v10) at home to see if there is any change. That being said, they do have a phone App that you can install on your smartphone to test as well over your cellular network and not company WiFi with company provided IP or on a computer connected to a company domain. Keep in mind, if you are using their free non-commercial license for use on your home computer (perfectly acceptable), then remoting in to it "from work" can actually set off some of the built in commercial-use protections that they have integrated into TeamViewer, especially if the computer you are remoting in from is on a Domain. Does your company have a licensed copy of TeamViewer that you're using at work to remote in to your free non-commercial personal use license copy at home, or are you using a non-commercial personal use license copy at work to connect to the same at home? ![]()
